In moving to a small platform, we have maintained the resources to handle any size case.

Our Core Team
Even when we worked on very large cases at one of the world’s largest firms, we rarely saw the need for large teams of associates. Our approach gives more weight to partner expertise and commitment than associate headcount. Thus, the Chaffetz Lindsey team of five partners and a small number of high quality associates and legal assistants continues the staffing approach that worked well for our clients on most of our recent matters.

Supplemental Associate Support
At the same time, we have taken steps to ensure our ability to work on those cases that do require a larger team. We have a formal arrangement with a leading Upstate New York firm to use their associates on our cases as needed. We know this firm well, and our arrangement allows us to supplement our resident team with qualified, committed lawyers whom we know and can supervise effectively.

Outsourcing Support Services
In recent years some firms have built in-house capability to meet the demands of e-discovery and computerized litigation support. We have taken a different approach. We work closely with leading specialist companies who focus solely on providing these services. Because we never charge a mark-up when we use outside vendors, we can provide state-of-the art service in these areas at a very competitive cost to clients.

Through these professional friends our clients have access to critical local expertise and credibility wherever they need it.
