Gretta Walters Authors NYIAC Case Law Chronicle: Enforcing Awards Against Non-Signatories and Non-Parties

June 2016 – The New York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC) published its sixth installment of The Case Law Chronicle, a regular series offered by the organization, which was authored by Gretta Walters.  The piece, titled “Enforcing Awards Against Non-Signatories and Non-Parties: Two Recent Decisions from the Southern District of New York,” focuses on recent decisions by New York federal and state courts addressing key issues arising out of actions to enforce foreign arbitral awards against non-signatories to an arbitration agreement.

Gretta has experience representing individual and corporate clients in complex litigation matters in state and federal court and in international and cross-border disputes. Gretta is a member the of International Commercial Disputes Committee of the New York City Bar. She also co-coaches the Foreign Direct Investment and Vis International Commercial Arbitration moot court teams at New York University Law School.
