James Hosking Speaks at the ICDR Conference in Sao Paulo

November 2013 – James Hosking joined a panel in São Paulo this month at the annual conference co-hosted by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution and the American Chamber of Commerce highlighting recent developments in international arbitration concerning Brazil. James’s presentation focused on the interaction between bankruptcy proceedings and arbitration and, specifically, whether a bankruptcy proceeding in the U.S. could have the effect of staying an arbitration in Brazil. Chaffetz Lindsey continues to be involved in several international arbitrations on behalf of Brazilian clients or clients with investments in Brazil.
