Rebecca Meyer has represented corporate clients in arbitration and litigation matters, across a variety of sectors including energy, construction and insurance. She is an adjunct professor at Brooklyn Law School, where she teaches a course on international investment arbitration.


Prior to joining Chaffetz Lindsey as an Associate, Rebecca was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Claire R. Kelly at the United States Court of International Trade.  Rebecca also completed an international arbitration traineeship at a leading international law firm in Paris.  She graduated from Brooklyn Law School where she was an editor for the Brooklyn Journal of International Law and a member of the 2019 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team.  At the Vis Moot, Rebecca was awarded an Honorable Mention for Best Oral Advocate.

Representative Matters

  • Representing a wind farm owner in ICDR-administered arbitration with EPC contractor regarding delays, missed milestones, and scope of ECP contractor’s responsibilities.
  • Represented a developer and manufacturer of wind turbines in ICDR-administered arbitration with wind farm owner regarding alleged product defects, delay, and missed milestones arising under an EPC contract.
  • Representing multiple domestic steel companies challenging the Department of Commerce’s denial of exclusions from the Section 232 steel tariffs.
  • Representing a reinsurer in ARIAS arbitration with insurance company regarding coverage dispute.
  • Representing an insurance company in dispute involving environmental contamination.
