Andreas Frischknecht to Speak on NYIAC-ASA Joint New York Panel

April 2023— Chaffetz Lindsey’s Andreas Frischknecht will join a panel discussion on “New York and Swiss Perspectives on Arbitration: The Interplay of Arbitral Proceedings and Awards with the Courts” on Tuesday, April 25^th. The event will be jointly hosted by the New York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC) and the Swiss Arbitration Center (ASA).

Panelists will explore the nuances of setting aside and enforcing arbitral awards in New York and Switzerland, as well as other ancillary proceedings ranging from evidence gathering and discovery to interim measures and arbitrator challenges, while highlighting some of the key differences between the two jurisdictions.

Speakers include Vanessa Alcaron Duvanel, King & Spalding (Geneva), Alexandra C. Johnson, Pestalozzi Attorneys at Law (Geneva) and Nicolle Kownacki, White & Case (Washington, D.C.). The discussion will be moderated by Moderated by Tanya Landon, Sidley Austin (Geneva).
