James Hosking to Chair ICC Institute Advanced Training at 21st ICC New York Conference on International Arbitration

September 2026 – Chaffetz Lindsey’s James Hosking will Chair the ICC Institute of World Business Law Advanced Training on Interest in International Arbitration: How to Get It Right? Economic, Legal and Procedural Considerations, taking place on September 24, 2026, in New York City as part of the 21^st ICC New York Conference on International Arbitration. Developed by leading members of the ICC Institute of World Business Law, the program will provide an in-depth examination of the economic, legal, and practical issues that arise when tribunals and parties address interest in international arbitration.

In addition to chairing, James will speak during the session “Practical and Procedural Issues: Tips and Potential Pitfalls.”  Exploring common challenges encountered when claiming and awarding interest, he will be joined by fellow panelists Christina L. Beharry (Foley & Lardner LLP) and Paul di Pietro (ICC International Court of Arbitration). The program will also include contributions from leading arbitrators, counsel, and economic experts on topics ranging from the economic foundations of interest to the legal basis for awarding it across different jurisdictions.
