November 2009 – Chaffetz Lindsey partner James Hosking, together with Professor Dr. Karl-Heinz Böckstiegel and Professor Martin Hunter, sat as an arbitrator in the final of the 2009 Foreign Direct Investment Moot, which took place on October 24, 2009. The competition simulated an investment treaty arbitration and brought together law school contestants from all around the world. The 2009 FDI Moot was hosted by the Deutsche Institution for Schiedgerichtsbarkeit (DIS) at the Frankfurt International Arbitration Centre and was organized by the Center for International Legal Studies.
