October 2025— Chaffetz Lindsey is proud to continue its support for the Young ICCA–Chaffetz Lindsey Scholarship, which allows a Young ICCA member to participate in the Certificate in International Commercial and Investment Arbitration, organized by Università degli studi Roma Tre and Associazione Italiana per l’Arbitrato (AIA) under the auspices of the Roma Tre–UNIDROIT Centre for Transnational Commercial Law and International Arbitration.
The scholarship covers the full registration fee for the Certificate and contributes to travel expenses, encouraging participation of applicants from countries underrepresented in this unique and intensive international arbitration training program.
This initiative builds on Chaffetz Lindsey’s longstanding involvement with both the Certificate and Young ICCA. James Hosking and Yasmine Lahlou have served on the Certificate faculty since its inception, and James has been a longtime Young ICCA mentor, with several other firm members active in the group’s mentoring program.
The 2025 edition of the Certificate will take place November 10th-15th, 2025, at Roma Tre University in Rome. The program brings together academics, in-house counsel, and practitioners for five days of lectures, roundtables, and practical exercises. This year’s program also includes the Roma Tre–UNIDROIT Annual International Arbitration Lecture, which will be delivered by Professor Maxi Scherer, Special Counsel at WilmerHale and Professor at Queen Mary University of London.
