Anibal Sabater Speaks at the ASIER Congress in Colombia

Where Advocacy Meets Business

November 2019 – On Friday, November 15th, Aníbal Sabater will participate in a panel discussion at the XIV Ibero-American Congress of Regulation of ASIER in Medellin, Colombia. The discussion, titled “Judicial Review and Conflict Solution: ASIER’s Perspective,” will feature four panelists who will explore the implementation and impact of arbitration on energy and infrastructure projects in Ibero-American countries. Anibal will specifically focus on arbitration and the limits of state regulation in the industry.

The Ibero-American Association for Regulation Studies (ASIER) is made up of a group of professionals from various Latin American countries, linked to the economic regulation of strategic sectors. The ASIER Congress brings together government regulatory bodies, guilds, public service providers, judges, academic researchers, and professionals from main economic sectors in the Americas and Europe to analyze the regulatory dynamics and needs of public infrastructure and economic and social development in the Ibero-America countries.
