Caline Mouawad to Speak at “Investment Arbitration and Climate Change” Virtual Book Launch

April 2024—Chaffetz Lindsey’s Caline Mouawad will take part in the upcoming virtual book launch of “Investment Arbitration and Climate Change” on Monday, April 8th from 12pm-1:30pm EDT. In this webinar, contributors to the recently published volume Investment Arbitration and Climate Change will discuss issues at the intersection between a State’s climate change initiatives and their potential impact on foreign investors.

Caline will examine how climate science may come into play at various stages of an investor-State arbitration relating to climate change issues.

Other speakers include Anja Ipp and Annette Magnusson, co-founders of Stockholm-based think tank Climate Change Counsel and the book’s editors as well as Oliver Hailes, assistant professor of law at the London School of Economics.
