Caline Mouawad to Speak at the 36th ICC QMUL Annual Joint Symposium of Arbitrators

February 2021 – On Monday, March 8th, Caline Mouawad will chair a panel discussion on “News About the Legal Foundations Invoked in International Commercial Arbitration to Remedy Hardship Situations” at the 36th ICC QMUL Annual Joint Symposium of Arbitrators. Topics of discussion will include news on hardship clauses, force majeure clauses, the théorie de l’imprevision and hardship situations and droit administratif.  Other panelists include Daniel Behn (Queen Mary University of London), Klaus Peter Berger (University of Cologne) and Nayla Comair-Obeid (Obeid Law Firm).

The two-day online symposium will focus on variations of hardship and international disputes. The event is hosted by the Queen Mary University of London School of International Arbitration and the ICC Institute of World Business Law.
