May 2017 – David Lindsey and Yasmine Lahlou are speaking at Business BVI’s second BVI International Arbitration Conference to be held May 30 – June 2 in Tortola, BVI. The conference is being held in the newly opened BVI International Arbitration Centre.
On June 2, David will be part of a panel on the topic of “The perfect Arbitrator, a client, counsel, arbitrator and centre perspective.” Yasmine will be speaking on several panels throughout the week. On May 31, she will join the ArbitralWomen panel addressing “Enforcement of Arbitral Awards.” On June 1, Yasmine will first speak on a panel entitled “Deliberate Diversity: A New Model for Arbitration,” which will discuss how arbitration would benefit from improved diversity, in respect of gender, nationality and ethnicity. She will also be speaking on a panel addressing the “Conduct of Arbitration.”
