James Hosking to Co-Chair 2023-2024 ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for North America

June 2023—Chaffetz Lindsey’s James Hosking has been named one of four co-chairs for the 2023-2024 ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy for North America. Together with Stephanie Cohen, Brian King and Jennifer Kirby, James will lead the training process in all workshops, including moderating discussions, assigning tasks and evaluating participants’ work.

Developed by the ICC Institute of World Business Law and organized under the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, the program aims to provide participants with a strong command of arbitration procedures and prepare them to act as arbitrators in international arbitration cases, with a particular focus on arbitration under the ICC Arbitration Rules.

A cohort of around selected candidates will participate in eight hands-on workshops in Miami, Houston, San Francisco, New York and Toronto from November 2023 to November 2024. In each workshop, participants will be trained and guided by prominent arbitrators, ICC experts, counsel, and law professors.
