Peter Chaffetz Speaks About Surveillance Law in New York with the International Fraud Group

Where Advocacy Meets Business

February 2021 – Peter Chaffetz was pleased to join the International Fraud Group (IFG) for its webinar discussion on the topic of surveillance and harassment and the impact on privilege. Peter was joined by esteemed panelists from other IFG firms around the world to discuss surveillance laws in various jurisdictions and the impact of overzealous surveillance on civil and criminal proceedings. Discussing New York’s surveillance laws and the extent to which surveillance is permissible in the state, Peter provided examples of where surveillance became overzealous and impacted New York-based proceedings.

A 15-minute recording of the webinar is available here. The IFG’s next webinar is scheduled for early April.

The International Fraud Group (IFG) is a network of 32 law firms from 54 countries focused on international fraud, securing injunctions and asset recovery.
