Ted DeBonis, Matthew Draper and Jennifer Gorskie Join Chaffetz Lindsey

April 2011 – Chaffetz Lindsey is excited to welcome three new associates: Ted DeBonis, Matthew Draper and Jennifer Gorskie.

Ted DeBonis joins Chaffetz Lindsey from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he worked as a litigation associate since September 2005. Ted has substantial experience representing clients in complex matters, including insurance and reinsurance arbitration and mediation, securities litigation, and international commercial arbitrations. Prior to law school, Ted worked in the financial industry. Ted is a graduate of St. John’s Law School where he was an Articles and Notes Editor on the St. John’s Law Review. Ted holds a B.A. in Political Science from Columbia University.

Matthew Draper joins Chaffetz Lindsey from Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, where he was a member of the International Arbitration and Complex Litigation group. Matthew has extensive experience representing international clients before U.S. courts and arbitral tribunals constituted under ICC, UNCITRAL, AAA, VIAC and FINRA arbitration rules, as well as advising clients in relation to international disputes. Prior to his time at WilmerHale, Matthew was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in New York and a junior legal officer with the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities in The Hague. Matthew is a graduate of Columbia Law School and Princeton University, where he received his degree magna cum laude.

Jennifer Gorskie joins Chaffetz Lindsey from Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where she worked as an associate since September 2004. Jennifer has significant litigation and international arbitration experience, representing domestic, international, and sovereign clients in commercial and public international law disputes in state and federal court and before various arbitral bodies. Jennifer previously clerked for the Honorable Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum in the Southern District of New York. She graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she was the Editor-In-Chief of the Harvard International Law Journal. She received her B.A. summa cum laude from Florida State University.
