Yasmine Lahlou to Speak at Inaugural Latin Lawyer–GAR Live Arbitration Summit

April 2017 – Partner Yasmine Lahlou will be speaking at the inaugural Latin LawyerGlobal Arbitration Review Live Arbitration Summit on April 27, 2017 in Miami.  The conference will focus on the latest developments in arbitration in Latin America with perspectives from private practice and in-house counsel.

Yasmine will be debating the topic of “Are we moving to an era of too much transparency in international arbitration?”  Her fellow debaters will be Ari MacKinnon of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, Chloe Carswell of Reed Smith, and Julissa Reynoso of Chadbourne & Parke.  The debate will be moderated by Klaus Reichert SC of Brick Court Chambers and judged by Valeria Galíndez of Uría Menéndez, Carlos Suplicy de Figueiredo Forbes of the Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brasil–Canada (CAM/CCBC), and Prof. Marike Paulsson of the International Arbitration Institute & University of Miami.

Yasmine advises and represents U.S. and international clients in both international arbitration and litigation proceedings.  Initially trained in Paris and admitted in New York, she fluently speaks English, French and Italian and is experienced in civil and common law systems.  Yasmine has represented clients in arbitration proceedings conducted under the ICC, ICDR, LCIA, UNCITRAL and ad hoc rules.  She has acted as chair, sole arbitrator, and co-arbitrator in ICC and Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) arbitrations.
