Yasmine Lahlou Speaks at 5th ICC Middle East-North Africa Conference on Arbitration

Where Advocacy Meets Business

April 2017 – The ICC recently held their Fifth Annual ICC Middle East-North Africa (MENA) Conference on Arbitration in Dubai over April 3-5, 2017.  The conference presented a series of discussions on the latest arbitration developments in the MENA region as well as an advanced level training on oral advocacy in international arbitration.

Chaffetz Lindsey partner Yasmine Lahlou spoke on a panel titled “Parallel proceedings, tactics and remedies: Overview of available options, prevailing practices and anti-suit injunctions.”  Her co-panelists were Andrea Carlevaris of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Alexander B. Blumrosen of Kuckenburg Bureth Boineau et Associés, and Anne K. Hoffmann of Clyde & Co.

Yasmine advises and represents US and international clients on a range of commercial disputes, in both international arbitration and litigation proceedings. Initially trained in Paris and admitted in New York, Yasmine is experienced in civil and common law systems.  She has represented clients in arbitration proceedings conducted under the ICC, ICDR, LCIA, UNCITRAL and ad hoc rules, as well as acted as an arbitrator.
