Alex Lupsaiu represents clients in international arbitration matters and commercial disputes, including bankruptcy, across renewable energy companies and goods manufacturing contracts. Alex has contributed to a report on US attorney-client privilege and confidentiality law for the IBA Task Force on Privilege and is currently co-authoring an article on the reticence of US domestic courts to entertain challenges to the enforcement of arbitral awards under Article V(c) of the New York Convention based on lack of tribunal jurisdiction. He recently graduated from NYU Law School, where he was the Notes Editor for the NYU Annual Survey of American Law.

  • Representing EPC contractor and manager of solar energy plants in ICC-administered arbitration with solar plant majority owners concerning alleged plant underperformance.
  • Representing can manufacturer and packaging company in dispute with beverage company purchaser.
  • Representing creditor in bankruptcy dispute with debtor regarding turnover of funds.
  • Represented developer and manufacturer of wind energy turbines in ICDR-administered arbitration with wind farm owner regarding alleged product defects arising under an EPC contract.
