Experience

Since joining the firm in 2020 from her native Singapore, Alicia’s practice has focused on international arbitration. Her cases have involved a range of industries, such as construction, energy, insurance, and reinsurance. In addition to English, she speaks Mandarin and Indonesian. Alicia holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Cambridge where she was Vice-President of the Human Rights Law Society and a legal researcher for the United Nations Refugee Agency. She completed her LLM at New York University.

  • Representing multinational renewable energy company in a multi-million dollar Mexican-seated arbitration relating to one of the world’s largest solar farms.
  • Representation of a foreign sovereign in a Hague-seated investor-state arbitration regarding land ownership.
  • Representing a major multinational insurance company in various coverage disputes with other insurers and policyholders.
  • Representing a leading aircraft management and aviation financing company in a high-value New York contract dispute against a global aircraft lessor.
