Jack has significant experience representing individual and corporate clients in high-stakes commercial litigation, investigations, and restructuring disputes. Jack draws on his pre-law experience as a hedge fund analyst to bring a commercial perspective to his practice.
After graduating from Lafayette College in 2018, and prior to attending UVA Law, Jack worked at a NYC-based hedge fund where he assisted with evaluation, support, and marketing of a wide range of multi-strategy investments across diverse sectors.
At UVA Law, Jack was a Notes Editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law.
Prior to joining Chaffetz Lindsey in 2025, Jack worked at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
- Representing a renewable energy developer against a manufacturer of solar modules in a suit alleging product defects.
- First-chaired multi-day impartial hearing proceeding on behalf of special education student, in a pro bono matter, resulting in the award of $1.5 million of compensatory services to the client.*
- Defended members of T-Mobile management in connection with fiduciary law claims in arising out of T-Mobile’s merger with Sprint.*
- Defended Getty Images and the Boeing Board of Directors in securities fraud actions.*
- Represented investment manager in numerous actions concerning real estate, immigration, and contract violations, including a mass action before the S.D.N.Y. where the team successfully obtained dismissal with prejudice of the mass action.*
- Counseled growth equity firm in internal investigations and lawsuits concerning executive misconduct, breach of contract, and theft of trade secrets.*
- Represented international entertainment company in government investigation concerning alleged breaches of foreign intellectual property laws.*
- Counseled Sunlight Financial Holdings regarding bankruptcy alternatives and represented Sunlight in connection with its Chapter 11 confirmation process.*
