Yasmine Lahlou Awarded ABA International Section 2011 Outstanding Policy Award

August 2011 – Associate Yasmine Lahlou, in her capacity as co-chair of the Middle East Committee of the ABA International Section, was awarded the ABA International Section 2011 Outstanding Policy Award for the Middle East Committee’s work on the Section’s Recommendation and Report on efforts by various states to adopt constitutional amendments or legislation intended to inhibit their courts’ ability to apply Sharia, foreign or international law.
