Peter Chaffetz and Cia Moss Present On Ethics

On July 17, 2009, Peter Chaffetz and Cia Moss presented the Ethics session at the Reinsurance Association of America’s ReContracts Seminar in New York. The presentation addressed ethical challenges which arise in negotiating and drafting contracts. As case studies, they discussed recent criminal convictions and SEC enforcement actions arising out of finite risk transactions as well as how OFAC regulations impact transactions involving financial institutions, insurance, and reinsurance companies.
