September 2025 — Chaffetz Lindsey’s Yasmine Lahlou participated in a panel session on “Integrity and Arbitrators” at the 24th Congresso Internacional de Arbitragem, organized by the Brazilian Committee of Arbitration (CBAr).

Yasmine was a featured speaker on Thursday, September 18th, during a discussion that explored critical questions surrounding conflicts of interest, disclosure duties, and the evolving expectations placed on arbitrators.

She presented on “Arbitrators and Dual Roles: Are ‘double hatting’ or ‘revolving door’ practices a legally adequate cause for distrust in arbitrators’ conduct?”—a timely topic addressing concerns about arbitrators who serve in multiple roles across proceedings.

The panel was moderated by José Roberto de Castro Neves and included:

  • Edgardo MuñozArbitrators and Liability: Boundaries of Civil and Criminal Liability for Arbitrators
