March 2024—Gretta Walters recently gave the keynote address at the 17th Annual International Centre for Dispute Resolution® (ICDR) Practice Moot and Lecture Series on Friday, February 16^th.

Gretta’s speech, “When Arbitrators’ and Institutions’ Authority Clash”, took a practical examination of one of the issues of this year’s Vis moot problem.

Each year, the program brings together preeminent arbitrators and practitioners in the field of international commercial arbitration with the aim of helping law students from around the world sharpen their advocacy skills in anticipation of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competitions held in Vienna and Hong Kong.
