Gretta Walters Speaks at NYU

February 2020 – On Monday, February 3rd, Gretta Walters will join a panel discussion about “CISG in International Arbitration” at New York University (NYU) Law School. In honor of CISG’s 40th anniversary, panel participants will discuss CISG’s applicability in international arbitration, the battle of the forms, the remedies available in case of fundamental breach of contract, and whether the CISG covers economic hardship.

The event is hosted by NYU Law School’s Center for Transnational Litigation, Arbitration, and Commercial Law, in association with the International Centre for Dispute Resolution Young and International (ICDR Y&I). Gretta is an adjunct professor at NYU and also co-coaches their Foreign Direct Investment and Vis International Commercial Arbitration moot court teams. She is also a member of ICDR Y&I’s Global Advisory Board.
