Gretta Walters to Join Panel at 18th Annual ICDR Y&I Coffee House Debate

April 2023— Chaffetz Lindsey’s Gretta Walters will speak at the 18^th Annual ICDR Y&I Coffee House Debate in Vienna, Austria on Sunday, April 2^nd at 12:30pm-2:30pm CEST. Gretta and accompanying panelists Malcolm Robach (Mannheimer Swartling), Katie Gonzalez (Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton), Dr. Désirée Prantl (Baker McKenzie), Anamaria G. Marin (SLCG) and Giorgio A. Sassine (Musick, Peeler & Garrett) will debate the following propositions: i) States cannot rely on their own breach of internal requirements to avoid arbitration agreements; and ii) Investigations carried out by states about the other side’s alleged corruption should not prevent arbitrations from proceeding.

The discussion will be moderated by Mark Kantor (Independent Arbitrator) and Patricia Shaughnessy (Stockholm University).
