Marcel Engholm Cardoso to Speak at 22nd CBAr International Arbitration Conference

September 2023— Marcel Engholm Cardoso is set to speak at the 22^nd Brazilian Arbitration Committee (CBAr) International Arbitration Conference on Wednesday, September 13^th. The conference held in Rio de Janerio will take place from September 13^th-September 15^th with the theme “Arbitration and Business Contracts”.

Marcel will join Ana Morales Ramos (De Brauw, Netherlands), Ana Teresa Boscolo (Conti Craveiro, Brazil) for the Young Practitioners’ Event panel “UNIDROIT Principles and international Arbitration.” Osny da Silva Filho (FGV University, Brazil) will moderate the discussion.

The three-day event will feature four panels, which will address issues on i) business contracts and the arbitrator; ii) business contracts and arbitration proceedings; iii) arbitrability and business contracts, and iv) arbitration and contractual imbalance.
