International Arbitration: A World of Opportunity for Young Lawyers
September 2012 – Chaffetz Lindsey Counsel, Yasmine Lahlou, participated in a recent event organized by the DC Bar Dispute Resolution Committee and the American Society of International Law on September 25, 2012 for young lawyers on career opportunities in international arbitration.
Yasmine joined Chaffetz Lindsey shortly after its establishment in 2009, having previously worked with the firm’s partners at Clifford Chance. Yasmine has represented clients in a broad range of disputes before a variety of arbitration venues under the ICC, ICDR, NAI, FINRA and UNCITRAL Rules, and has sat as an arbitrator for the ICC and SCC. Most recently, Yasmine was part of the team that represented a Brazilian private equity firm in a loan related dispute against one of the world’s largest hedge funds.
