Chambers USA 2026 Highlights Chaffetz Lindsey’s Unmatched Depth in International Arbitration

June 2026– Chaffetz Lindsey has once again earned broad recognition in the Chambers USA 2026 rankings, reinforcing its position as having the nation’s deepest bench of experienced international arbitration and enforcement practitioners.

No firm in Chambers USA 2026 earned more individual recognitions across the core International Arbitration: Counsel, Enforcement, and Arbitrators rankings, with five lawyers also advancing in their respective categories. Chaffetz Lindsey remains the only New York-based boutique ranked in International Arbitration: The Elite, alongside many of the world’s largest global law firms.

Client and peer feedback highlighted the qualities that continue to distinguish the firm in the market. One client praised the team as “consummate professionals” who are “always well prepared, deeply insightful and strategic,” noting “it’s been a consistently excellent experience with them, they’re fantastic.” Others noted “they add enormous value in planning and strategy, with focus on the client’s need.”

Among the firm’s individual rankings:

  1. James Hosking remains ranked Band 1 in Counsel, recognizing his position among the leading international arbitration advocates in the United States. Clients describe James as “a very, very skilled advocate,” while peers praise him as “careful, hardworking, thoughtful and smart.” He also continues to be ranked Band 1 in Arbitrators, with sources calling him “top-notch.”  He is the only practitioner ranked Band 1 as both counsel and arbitrator.
  2. Aníbal Sabater was promoted to Band 2 in Counsel and Band 1 in Arbitrators, further strengthening the firm’s position as one of the few U.S. firms with multiple internationally recognized arbitrators. One source observed that “Aníbal is one of the best at cross-examination,” while another praised him as “a very good arbitrator who is very conscientious and hardworking.”
  3. Caline Mouawad has been promoted to Band 2 in Counsel rankings, earning praise for her leadership, strategic insight, and multilingual capabilities, with one client noting that she “brings a lot of leadership and a cohesive approach for arbitration” and possesses “deep expertise.”
  4. Yasmine Lahlou was promoted to Band 3 in Counsel and maintains her Band 1 ranking in Enforcement, underscoring the firm’s market-leading capabilities in post-award recovery and judgment enforcement. Sources characterize her as “a very impressive, very skilled advocate” and praise her as “an incredibly bright practitioner.”
  5. Andreas Frischknecht remains ranked Band 1 in Enforcement, continuing his recognition as one of the nation’s leading enforcement practitioners. Commentators describe Andreas as having “an encyclopedic knowledge of enforcement and arbitration” and as simply “impeccable.”
  6. Gretta Walters maintained her in Band 6 ranking and was similarly recognized by sources who described her as “super organized and efficient” and praised her “keen understanding” of complex issues and “valuable experience in the field.”
  7. May Khoury was also listed as an “Up and Coming” attorney, highlighting emerging talent on the team.
