September 2026—Chaffetz Lindsey, together with fellow contributor Bracewell LLP, will host the global launch of A Guide to the ICDR International Arbitration Rules (Third Edition) (Oxford University Press, 2026) on Thursday, September 24, 2026 in New York City. Co-authors James Hosking and Gretta Walters will be joined by fellow co-author Martin F. Gusy (Bracewell LLP) for a cocktail reception to celebrate publication of the latest edition of the leading commentary on the ICDR International Arbitration Rules.
Written for practitioners, arbitrators, and in-house counsel, the third edition provides a comprehensive article-by-article analysis of the ICDR Rules, tracing their evolution, explaining their practical application, and placing them within the broader framework of international arbitration. The new edition has been thoroughly updated to reflect recent amendments to the Rules, current institutional practice, and developments in case management, expedited procedures, and hearing conduct. For the first time, it also draws on newly available electronic databases of significant ICDR and AAA awards and decisions.
The publication is particularly timely as the ICDR Rules will be applied to the 2025–2026 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, helping introduce a new generation of arbitration practitioners to the institution.
