Chaffetz Lindsey Insurance Team Climbs in Chambers USA 2026

Where Advocacy Meets Business

June 2026– Chaffetz Lindsey partners have once again earned top recognition in the Chambers USA 2026 rankings for insurance and reinsurance disputes, reinforcing the firm’s position as a market leader in complex insurer-side and reinsurance litigation and arbitration.

The firm has again maintained its Band 1 ranking in New York for Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Insurer, one of only two firms (out of the 21 ranked by Chambers) placed at the top of the country’s most competitive insurance market. Chambers also recognized the firm’s growing strength nationally, advancing Chaffetz Lindsey’s to Band 2 among the leading nationwide practices for both insurer-side and reinsurance disputes.

Among the individual recognitions, Charlie Scibetta advanced to Band 1 in New York, reflecting his growing prominence as one of the market’s leading insurer-side litigators. Peter Chaffetz continued to earn top recognition nationwide for reinsurance disputes while also being recognized as a Senior Statesperson in New York.  Steve Schwartz and Cia Moss were again recognized for their leading work in insurance and reinsurance disputes. This year’s rankings also highlighted the firm’s multi-generational strength, recognizing Erin Valentine as  ”Up and Coming”.

Together, these rankings reflect the qualities that have long distinguished Chaffetz Lindsey: a deep bench of experienced advocates, a premier insurance and reinsurance practice, and a boutique model that allows the firm to handle some of the industry’s most significant disputes while providing clients with partner-driven service and strategic counsel.

In the words of one client surveyed by Chambers survey,  the team “has a wealth of knowledge and experience”  and “a deep bench of attorneys with this expertise, at all levels in the firm.”
