April 2025—Chaffetz Lindsey’s Matilde Flores will participate in the American Society of International Law (ASIL)’s Annual Meeting taking place April 16th-April 18th in Washington, D.C.
Matilde will host the panel “Careers in International Law with a Focus on Latin America” on April 17th as part of the Latin America Interest Group’s annual business meeting. The panel will be an informal discussion where each speaker will provide insights into their careers and advice to younger practitioners, with a particular focus on how Latin American lawyers can forge a career path in international law. The panel will also explore how current international law issues impact Latin America. Panelists include Matheus Bastos Oliveira (Freshfields) and Paola Patarroyo (Legal Officer at the UN).
Matilde is on the Annual Meeting Committee and the Co-Chair of the ASIL Latin America Interest Group.
