Yasmine Lahlou to Join ICC World Business Law Institute’s Training on Oral Advocacy
February 2025—Chaffetz Lindsey’s Yasmine Lahlou will join ICC’s Oral Advocacy in International Arbitration: the Good, the Bad and the In Between Advanced Training taking place in Abu Dhabi on Monday, February 10th.
Yasmine and Jean Pierre Harb (Jones Day) will teach the session “Oral advocacy at the main hearing” and discuss i) orally pleading a case “through” witness examination: counsel perspectives, tribunal perspectives and ii) closing statements and post-hearing briefs: transcripts, recency and the new emphasis on speed in rendering the award.
The training will take place on the eve of the 13th ICC MENA Conference on International Arbitration, an event hosting practitioners from around the world to discuss latest trends, developments and strategies in arbitration in the Middle East and North Africa.
